Cap

Convex, expanding with age, surface smooth when dry, very slimy when damp, yellow to ochraceous yellow, to about 8 cm

Gills

Crowded, pale lilac when young, pinkish brown with age

Stem

Club shaped, base somewhat to strongly bulbous, whitish, decorated with veil remnants which are rusty from spores, +/- pale lilac at the apex, veil yellowish when young

Flesh

Firm, white, with a greyish lilac tinge in the stem apex
